My name is Jake and I am the founder of muscles.zone. I started this page in September 2014 with the intention of sharing some of my knowledge on the fitness and bodybuilding topic. I still remember the first time I joined the local gym and went there on a daily basis with a couple of my friends. This was in my teenage years. I am not able to pinpoint the exact year I went there for the first time, but
During this period, I have kept the gym membership alive. Sure I have had periods in my life where I didn’t go (travelling, stuydying abroad, etc.) but these periods usually comes down to six months or less. Besides from this, I have had a pretty steady routine where I try to get there at least a couple of times a week. Some periods more and some periods, less, but on average I have probably hit the gym around four times a week. I also used to work part time, standing behind the desk at the local gym over a period of two years.
That's a lot of hours spent in the gym during the past 15 years
During this period, I have
- Tried lots of supplements (but always stayed away from steroids and prohormones (and SARMs))
- Used many different workout routines
- Experimented heavily with different diets
- Seen a lot of weird stuff
My plan is to use Muscles.Zone to share these stories. My focus will be on supplement reviews, but I will be covering different topics focused on the bodybuilding space, every now and then.
