Last time I looked at NO3 Black Chrome Nitric Oxide Booster followed by Pumped Raw from Muscle Feast. Today I am going to cover the details of Pre JYM from Jim Stoppani; an all in one formula designed to give a bit of stimulation and pump before a workout. Utilising a combination of stimulants and vasodilators, Pre JYM aims to support improved blood flow, increased energy, vascular appearance or “pump,” and even has a few compounds added to help encourage and support gains.
Pre JYM benefits from an excellent supplement profile. Unlike many proprietary blends which hide their ingredients or their concentrations, Pre JYM clearly discloses all information to let users be informed as to exactly what is going in their bodies.
One serving size of Pre JYM amounts to a total of 26.5g, or one scoop with the included scooper. A scoop of Pre GYM has 15 calories, 4g of carbohydrates and 220mg of sodium. Contains no fat or protein content.

Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine: These three compounds are known as Branched-Chain Amino Acids, a type of amino acid used by muscles in the body for energy. They are known to support muscle growth and function within the body, but the exact effects of taking them as supplements remains a topic of inquiry.
Citrulline Malate: Stimulates nitric oxide production, leading to vasodilation and pump. Also has been shown to potentially increase energy levels by providing additional ATP.
AlphaSize® Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline: A natural choline compound found within the brain. Reputed to improve cognitive function, this compound has been studied as a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. Combined here with caffeine and other mild stimulants, the compound is added in the hopes of improving mental clarity and focus.
Huperzine A: Marketed as a supplement for its ability to improve memory and cognitive function. Huperzine A has been studied as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative disorders, but its efficacy as a supplement has not beed studied comprehensively.
Flavors, Jar Sizes and Price per Serving
Pre JYM comes in two flavors: Cherry Limeade and Raspberry Lemonade. Whichever flavor you select, you’ll probably be going for the 20-serving sized jar as it appeared to be the only one available. Because each serving of Pre JYM is 26.5g, the 20-serving jar contains 530g of powder.
At its $35 price tag, Pre JYM is about $1.50 a serving – a bit on the pricy side, but not bad considering the relatively massive serving size.
Over at supplementreviews.com Pre JYM is #2 in the “Pre Workout Stimulants” category, with an 8.9 overall rating and a total of 6 reviews. On bodybuilding.com we find Pre JYM with an “Excellent” rating of 9.4 out of 10 with a very impressive 1,815 “Verified Buyer” ratings.
Going against the grain of super-concentrated pre-workout formulas, a scoop of Pre JYM is pretty hefty. But inside you find basically an entire energy drink (without all the sugar,) a definite bit of pump and several key bodybuilding supplements.
Pre JYM contains proven ingredients and clearly discloses the amounts. Based on that alone, it should be effective. It contains vasodilating agents provide pump, known mild stimulants for energy both mental and physical, and also has many of bodybuildings go-to substances to support and encourage gains. Rounded off by its excellent reputation, Pre JYM is definitely worth investigating further.
